I recently stayed at a budget hostel in downtown Quebec City called Ekono Hostel La Belle Planete Backpackers. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The bedding and towels were clean and freshly washed, which was a pleasant surprise considering the affordable price. Despite the old building and lack of renovations, the showers provided hot water and privacy. Additionally, the location of the hostel was amazing, allowing me to easily explore the city.
My experience at Ekono Hostel La Belle Planete Backpackers was not entirely positive. The lack of service and high prices for such a place left me disappointed.

Likes About My New Year Experience: The owner of the hotel was really friendly and helpful, which made our stay a little better. The bedding and towels provided were clean and fresh, so we didn't have to worry about any uncleanliness. the location of the hotel couldn't be better. We were in the heart of the city, close to all the key attractions and New Year festivities, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy the celebrations.
